Working for the elderly and frail.Heritage House in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk is a Day Care Centre for the elderly and frail providing relief from loneliness and social isolation. Many elderly people live alone, or are looked after by family members who themselves need time off for caring. To many of our Day Visitors their time here is the high spot of the week. They benefit from the companionship of contemporaries and the caring good humour of our staff and volunteer helpers. Helped by the staff, our Day Visitors can take part in various activities from crafts to quizzes, or just chat with their friends. The hot lunch, cooked on the premises, draws a lot of enthusiastic comment. Coffee and tea is provided throughout the day. There is also Bathing with special equipment for the less mobile and hairdressing facilities on site. Heritage House aims to meet the individual needs of all Day Visitors, giving them care, stimulation and comfort. Who runs Heritage House?Heritage House is a registered charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee with a Board of Trustees and a Committee.
